Not really wedding related, but need help on where to dye my shoes
Well, our wedding day has come and gone and this September, we have 3 weddings to attend!! I would love to wear my wedding day slingbacks to these weddings, but would need to dye them black.I am looking for a place that could dye them for me. Any suggestions? I bought them at a small specialty store in Rockville Centre (Rhea Nichols), but don't know if they would do them there (anyone know?). I am open to anyplace, and would like it to be a reasonable price. I live on the north shore now, so I would go as far west as Manhassett and as far east as Huntington.
Also, any one know how long it takes for them to do it? The first wedding we have is Labor Day weekend (2 weeks from today!).
Thanks ladies!!

dyeing for you is great. takes 2 weeks and he does shoes you buy there or from somewhere else. i think if you buy shoes there, he'll dye them black after the affair for $5. to sye shoes from outside is $20. the phone # is 631-225-7090. good luck.

Thanks for the info ladies. $20 doesn't seem bad compared to the cost I'd pay if I bought a new pair
Anybody else?

There is a place called Craft Shoes in Commack. I had my shoes dyed there before. Dont remeber the cost, it wasnt much. They are on Jericho Tpke.

I went to a local shoe maker to get shoes dyed. Cheap and quick. Not sure if that is an option for you.
