Not so great news

My aunt just told me that my cousin, who has been battling cancer since he was 19, was not doing so well this weekend and they took him to the hospital and the doctors said there isn't really anything more they can do for him and they are going to be putting him on hospice care. They also said that is time left is very limited.

Granted I am not very close with this cousin and don't see him a whole lot anymore (he's actually like my 4th or 5th cousin) but just the thought that this kid has been battling cancer since he was 19 years old and he may not even live to see his 23rd birthday at the end of May really upsets the hell out of me. I just really feel life is just so unfair sometimes. He was the sweetest kid growing up and it's sad that his life has to end like this.

Sorry for being a downer but I have been sitting at my cube crying for the past 30 minutes and I needed to get this out.

My cousin died at 17 because of a disease also, it's so hard when they're so young- it really is unfair.
