Not-So-Skinny girls....garters?

My thighs are a bit 'thick' and the garter my mom picked up (just a cheap-y one at Michael's cause she saw it ) doesn't exactly fit- it squeezes too much and looks ridiculous, IMO.

Where can I get a larger size or adjustable garter?

I saw one in the Cathy's Concept's Catalog- but its kinda boring, so I'm looking for other options...Thanks!

What about buying the boring one and adding some ribbon, crystals or whatever to make it more personal- I bought a generic one and am going to spice it up

There are some garter companies like eyecatchingdesigns.com that will make them larger for you but I believe there is an extra charge. I wish I'd made my own because though Im a thin girl, I have latina thighs lol. Sooo it feels snugger than I like. There is a DIY link for making your own..REALLY simple and then you can customize it however you like. I'd look on websites for ideas then just copy what you like.

I ordered my from www.hand-craftedcreations.com
I should be getting it any day now... I've heard looots of good things about them, and they don't charge extra to make larger garters. There are tons of different styles and colors to choose from and if you don'T see exactly what you want just tell her and she'll make it. Like I wanted an airplane charm (1 charm is free) btu didn't see one ont he website but she found one anyway.

When she finished making it she took a picture and this is what they look like:

Just an idea, but what about cutting it on one side (or both) and attaching some ribbon that matches your theme. Then you could tie it in a sexy bow. I think that would be very pretty. Garters just get tossed away, so why not make use of what you have. Besides, If it is plain to begin with, this would dress it up a bit and you could adjust it to fit perfectly.

I think that's a great idea! Even if it doesnt get tossed away there is no reason that you cant spice up the one you have now.
