Not sure about florist I booked...

I'm getting married on May 16th at Stonebridge Country Club in Smithtown and the manager, Frank has recommended a few vendors that I have been pretty happy with, so far.

I booked ($399 deposit) Jason James Florist in Hauppauge and have been very happy with their ideas and their VERY reasonable prices.

However, I stopped in there a couple of times to purchase flowers and they all have died within 24 hours.

The roses that my fiance got me for Valentine's day, from Perry's Florist, are still alive!

I'm very concerned with my choice and wonder if anyone has any advice

Wow, that's rough........ Dead within a day
i have a feeling, and I hate to say, that may mean he makes up for giving great prices with poor quality flowers.
There is NO reason why flowers s/b dead within a day.
I suggest, before jumping the gun, the first thing you should do is voice your concern w/him and let him give you an explanation.
Also have him make you a sample that you can take home and see how long it lasts.

Keep us posted, and GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!

I would meet with him again, tell hm your concerns, and ask for sample bouquets to take home

Funny you said that, she made up a sample table centerpiece for me, which was gorgeous. I asked her if I could keep it and she said that she couldn't do that. I'm sure it was because it was expensive to make up.

Is that strange??
