i have two step sisters which i have not included in the bridal party and to be honest i do not want them in it...we are not close so i see no reason to put them but should i have them do something since they are 'step sisters'?

make them readers. they can have a part in the ceremony--and even get a corsage to make them feel like they are special...without having to deal with them too much!

If you're not close to them then don't include them at all. I have 2 step-sisters and a step-brother, but only one step-sister is in my BP.

this is what i was hoping to hear but i wanted to do the 'right' thing by including them but i dont talk to them even when i am over there i say hi and bye thats it

Honestly, I don't think you should feel 'obligated' to include them in your bridal party. I really believe bridal party should be composed of a group of people who has been there for you thick and thin and truly care about you and your FH. You can include them as reader for your ceremony OR, you may have them make a speech or you may say a few words of gratitude toward them during your reception.
