Not sure where to get marriage liscence??!! Help!!!!

So we live in queens....but do not get out of work until 3. I work in bk and he works in maspeth. Does anyone know what time they actually stop seeing people there? And how the parking situation is? Is there a lot you can just pay to park? I am concerned we are not going to make it in time. And I can't take off since I just started this job in sept.

I see that the one in the town of hempstead in mineola (I think that's mineola) closes at 4:45, but you need to be there at 4:15 which may work as well for us....but that is that there is no traffic and we can both make it there by 4:15. I am pretty sure there is a lot there, but can someone verify that for me?

Huntington has a late day...but appts only to residents which we aren't.

Does anyone know of any other offices that may have a late day? We do not have a lot of time to get this done.

Looks like the city ones are only open till 4, but one at 8:30. Could you go into work late one morning?

I doubt it. I think my best bet to be try to leave early when I have a prep period the last period of the day. Since I am not assigned to teach that period. I just hate asking since I am new to the school.

Jess, I'm sure your principal will understand. I know that my administration was so understanding when I have to run out for something. They understand that there is more to life than work!!

It doesn't hurt to ask!!

Yea being new you try not to make waves. And a new principal starts next week so not sure who to ask. Lol. I'll figure it out and hopefully they let me go. I shoulda went before work started!

we went to the court in kew gardens. they close at 5 i think? It was pretty painless there and you can go after work or go in late like we did. They have a parking lot and we didnt have to pay

I went to Huntington for the Friday appt day--they never asked if we were residents...I mean we had to give our addresses for paperwork purposes but even when I made the appt they never asked.

Maybe you could call and see what they say?
