How much fluid did you leak when you had a slow leak? I know there were a couple of people that had a slow leak and if I remember Jenn didn't realize it?!?!

Please help me!!!

Someone I know said they were out shopping when they felt their water slowly trickle out. She said she went home and a little while later, the rest of the water gushed out. She knew she would be going to the hospital soon after to deliver.

Call your Dr. They can do a test to see if it is amniotic fluid. Because if it is the baby should be out by 24hrs

I know...but I just was curious since going in to the last couple of weeks you are suppose to notice an increase of discharge anyways.

The good ol' ferning test or pH test.

I had a slow leak when my water broke and it was like...how can I describe.....if you've ever gotten water in your vagina after swimming or bathing for awhile and then when you are upright again and the water just trickles out.

Without trying to sound like an alarmist - If you have ANY questions, I mean ANY question that this might be occuring, Call your OB. Sometimes labor begins after the water breaks and sometimes it doesnt but the main thing is once your water breaks, the baby is no longer in a safe and sanitary environment and is susceptible to infection.

Was it constant for you? Or did it happen in intervals? Just curious...

I guess I would say it happened in intervals. It all depends on the tear you have (or may have) int he amniotic sac and exactly where it breaks.

Please call your OB if this is happening. *end of bossiness*
