What did FH or DH get everyone for the holidays? I don't ask this to sound materialistic, but out of genuine curiosity. I like hear how romantic guys can be when it comes to gift giving. Sometimes even the smallest $10 gift can be the most meaningful depending on what it is.
Personally, I had a very Country Hanukah! (For those that my not know, I LOVE country music.) FH bought me the Dixie Chicks live in concert double CD, then he totally surprised me and bought me tickets to see Alan Jackson and Martina McBride in concert in February at Nassau Colisseum!!! I was SOOOOOOOO excited. I don't think I was ever more excited about a gift, except my e-ring of course. I literally was jumping up and down when he told me. It was the sweetest thing he could have done. They are 2 of my favorite performers and I wanted to see them so badly. This was the best!!
Ok, I'm done spewing! LOL. What about the rest of you?

Re: Not to sound materialistic, but...
We agreed to keep it 'small' this year but we love giving each other gifts. FH got me a beautiful Guess watch similiar to this one except mine has a two tone band with a mother of pearl face and gold hands and numbers. He also got me candles and DVD's and the most beautiful card which choked me up and quite honestly the card would have done just fine!
Hey! I got Vera Wang perfume too. I didn't want to spend the $$ and FH knew I wanted it for the wedding so he went out and got the lotion and perfume. He also got me a book I wanted and I received a ton of shower gifts from family members of his that couldn't make it because of snow. People got us alot of Christmas decorations for next year. All in all it was a great Christmas.

Re: Not to sound materialistic, but...
I received from my FH a book by Jonathan Kellerman about mystery surrounding Jack the Ripper (I love historical mysteries, and I didn't even know this book existed so for FH to remember I like those sort of books and to get it was so sweet), and TRIO PALM PILOT (or whatever they are called) - I asked for the M130 because it seemed the cheapest but he couldn't find one and got the TRIO one instead (yay!!) and a small bottle of Tresor perfume. I love love love it!
And my daddy got me a nice gift certificate to Osio spa in O'side. Got FH a laser level (men stuff haha) and both of us he gave us 2 champagne flutes from Waterford.
Sister got me a shiatsu electronic massager and a DVD and tons of cute stocking stuffers.
I gave FH a cell phone (he needed a new one) and a digital camera which he said he wanted months ago. I got my sister a work bag and a cookie press for making cookie shapes. I got my father 3 sets of videos about Irish history. My sister got him (from e-bay) 41 tapes of 4 episodes each of All in the Family (he loves that show, we've been watching it since yesterday...can I tell ya'll how much I hate that show?!?! LOL) We also got him a wallet, Irish Mist after dinner cordial and a robe.
We had a really great Christmas. Makes up for this week AND Christmas Eve (don't ask!!)
I hope everyone enjoyed the holiday - not just the gifts but the love and the family and good friends too!
