Not to start controversary, I really need to know. Teachers if you left teaching ... (2 questions to follow)

Do you think that you would be able go back into the normal work world?

What would you do instead?

i would be miserable without my students

i honestly don't know what i would do if i fifn't teach....i can't picture myself doing anything else

whenever I get frustrated with my kids and school district/parents I always fantasize about leaving to serve fried LOL! But I don't think I'd ever leave! The rewards outway the negatives.

If I ever leave it will be to pursue my ph. d in school psych. I am considering it, but not for a while. I always want to work with children.

If youre thinking about it that much, maybe its not for you. I taught in a day care (pre-k, I didnt have a teaching degree) and after 3 years I didnt think it was for me, so Im doing office work now and I cant tell you how many times I think back and MISS THE KIDS!
