Anyone else not wearing a garter? I don't think I am- I hate having it thrown at the wedding... so whats the point. Do you think its a big deal?

Re: Not wearing a garter
i never even considered wearing one. i actually did not want anything tossed at my wedding - so we didn't do a garter toss OR a bouquet toss.

Re: Not wearing a garter
Not a big deal. Most of the weddings I've been to recently have not included a garter toss, so I don't know how anyone would know or why they'd care if you're not wearing one.

Re: Not wearing a garter
DH refused to go up my dress in front of our families so we did a bo-k toss but not the garter. i ended up not wearing mine because my dress was short and i didnt want it to somehow be seen or make a weird bulge under my dress; i had it around for pictures tho.

Re: Not wearing a garter
I'm not wearing one or throwing the bouquet toss to manors not worth it because all our friends and family (except the kids) are married so we decided against it plus we want more time to party

Re: Not wearing a garter
Thanks for the tips ladies!
An anniversary dance is you play a slow song and have the DJ/Band say all the couples married for 5 years keep dancing... 10 years.... 15 years... 20 years. and so on. so slowly couples leave the dance floor. as it gets above 40 they count by 1 year. then you have the couple married the longest gets the bouquet. its really cute :)
