There's an '80's dance club in East Meadow - called Luck's. IThey may play some '70's too, can't remember.I've never been but if you like the music I hear it's a fun place.

Thanks for responding everyone - I'm looking for fun - we're not really into finding the hippests spots - just somewhere where we can dance to fun top 40 or 80s/90s dance (and not be the only ones on the floor if you know what I mean)

Oz is an older crown which is nice not to have to be with 21 yr olds (no offense to anyone here who is younger), and Blu in the GC Hotel........

Re: Not Wedding related-dancing on LI
Chelsea Street is pretty good on friday nights mostly. Another fun place is the 56th Fighter group in Farmingdale, gets really packed on fridays, but has indoor and outdoor dance floors, multiple bars and a live band during happy hour. They also have free food sometimes. Come early! Jillian's in Farmingdale also has a dance club that plays really good music but there is usually not alot of people there, lots of room for dancing! Have fun!
