Not wedding related..but i registered for th LAST test today! wahoo!!

Not wedding related..but i registered for th LAST test today! wahoo!!

now all i have to do is study my butt off so i can pass!! has anyone taken it? how hard was it? i bought a few books on it but im not doing THAT great.

I took the LAST, ATS-W, CST-Social Studies, CST-Special Education, and CST-English.

I passed all on the first try.

Honestly, its not as bad as it seems. There's really no way to study. I didn't study for any of those tests.

Congrats!! I took all of those education tests and you really can't study for them...just read each question carefully...they try and trick you plus leave enough time to do the essay part. I think I did the essay part first.

for the last and atsw i got a practice book so that i could familiarize myself with the format of the test....also, when i took the test, i read the essay first, went back to the questions to answer them and then whenever an idea related to the essay i wrote down some notes bc by the time i got to the essay I pretty much answered the whole thing.....if you have an questions feel free to FM me good luck !!!!

Took the LAST & ATS-W I stressed more than I needed to. Passed both on the 1st try, like the OP said just read the questions carefully.

I just have the CST-Multi-content left..

I just did a few practice exams in a Kaplan book i bought. Good Luck and don't freak out! You will do great!

Honestly, it's VERY easy. Very general and basic. You have basic math, a lot of reading comprehension. You can get a study book if you want. I know they have them in bookstores.

Oh, online they have a practice test. I would do that first and see how you do and whether you think you need the study guide. Good luck! Did you do the other tests yet? The hardest test is the Content Test. I am certified for math and English, and math was HARD!!!!!

ITA- Content is the hardest. I took 3 (English, Social Studies, & Students w/ Disabilities). Social Studies (which I went to school for four years for) was the hardest....they expected to you to know EVERY aspect of EVERY country's history- impossible for just about anyone!!!

I thought the LAST was the easiest of them all. I didn't study and I stressed myself out over it, but I still passed on the first try. I took the test in the morning and drove to maryland to go to a wedding that afternoon....i don't know what i was thinking.

just look online for the practice test so you get a general idea of the questions. you'll do fine.
