NOT Wedding Savy Girl - Planning Beach Hamptons Wedding. HELP!
Hi there! I have NO IDEA where to even begin. I want to marry in the hamptons (easthampton) we'd like to do a tent wedding. We want an excellent caterer, our date is September 2014. I have no idea what place to do it - but I know I like a smaller less gaudy venue, like a nice old estate on the beach. My fiance's family has a small cottage by the beach - so do we need a venue if we can use that property? The land is an acre and a half....it's on grass and the beach is just over the hill. (it's not entirely beach FRONT since it's grass and about a 100 ft walk to the water)
this whole thing is my worst nightmare. I just am a disaster at this. I have no idea how or where to begin. I am seeing tents for rent, but then I see tent 'flooring' and tent 'lining' and lighting and I didn't realize all of this stuff doesn't just come together. Its' all separate.
Anybody have a beach wedding who can give me some pointers? I'm ready to explode.
