Has anyone taken the notary test recently? What is the test format like? I am reading the overview book and the beginning tests are very difficucult and the new tests towards the end appear to be some sort of word association/vocabulary.
Any tips would be great! Thanks!

i took it, it was quite easy! read the book and you will totally pass it, it was straight out of the book

Did you use the passbook for the Notary Public? Its a green book.
Were the questions like those b.c I find those to be pretty tricky!

no, mine was a four page pamphlet that you get when you register for the test, that was really easy, i never saw the other thing

You can go online to the NYS licensing division and print off all the information from there.

My friend's little brother took it as a joke (long story- he's only 21) w/o studying and passed. Honestly, anybody can pass that exam.
