Note on JoVon (a little long)

I was married in September of 2000 & haven`t posted on this board since. I just wanted to give a heads-up on JoVon Photography. We used them and the photographer we had was fantastic. She really did a great job, the pictures were wonderful and we had a great rapport with her. I`d highly recommend her, and I did on this board last September. I wish I could say the same for JoVon. They have been awful. Their customer service stinks. After placing our order and giving them the final payment, we fell off the JoVon radar. We call & are given the run-around. They say they will call us back and no one ever does. They have not placed the orders correctly, when we asked for two, we only got one, etc. Our order has come in piecemeal. We are still waiting for 1/3 of our order, which includes our album. Granted they claim the album takes six to eight months, and we’re now at the seven month mark. Not returning our calls, however, is something within their control. It feels that since we paid in full, they have us over a barrel – and they know it, so they don’t bother being professional or polite. I guess they’ve never heard of “word of mouth”. You always hear: you get what you pay for, but in this case, you get a whole lot less.

A friend of mine also had the same trouble with them. She said the pictures came out great, but getting the album took well over a year after placing the order, and the customer service was horrible.
