Nothing like getting into a screaming match with a close friend a month before the wedding.

Yeah...I really had it out with my best guy friend a couple of days ago.

He keeps trying to contact me via text/FB/FB chat, etc. I keep ignoring him.

He does this every time this band tours...gets fkn neurotic and competitive about how many shows we're each going to and where our seats are. He doesn't get that it's about the music and the feelings and the friendships forged through this band. No. He flipped out when I was offered that Hartford ticket last week because it means I'm going to one more show than him.

So childish.

I've been successfully ignoring him since Monday afternoon. It's been kind of nice.

Wow- it sounds like alot of jealosy on his part. I hope you both work things out before you get married

awwww sweetie im sorry. you have waited so long for this concert, dont let anyone ruin it for you. maybe he's on the rag? just let it go and talk to him after the concert when he has a chance to chill out. maybe you can then talk to him about his behavior...??????

make sure you point this guy out to me at the wedding...I'll 'accidentally' have a loud conversation about how petty and jealous some people are right by him

Yeah...it stinks...he does this every time they tour. For him it's a total competition.

I think I may have to grow apart from him soon.

I did that with one friend last year and feel so much better because of it.

Honestly...this sounds like a good idea. Someone who is that destructive and petty is not someone you want in your life.
