I got married Nov 6th 2009... weather was great!!
the sun was out... no clouds and no rain!!

it did get a little chilly outside the church after the ceremony, but not too bad and I liked it!!

best of all.... no one will be sweating or in a middle of a heat wave!!!!

good luck to you guys!!!

The ONLY thing I want to warn you early November girls on... is the amount of daylight you have. This was my ONE issue with having my wedding on November 6th. I didn't think it would be an issue... but it kind of was.
My wedding was at 3 or 3:30 at a church. I can't remember which time it was right now. But the sun was going down when we were leaving the church (between 4:30 and 5). We had to take pics at the church outside to get the little daylight we had left. By the time we got to the reception location (20 mins plus some traffic for friday wedding) it was dark out and so we couldn't take pics outside there.
This is the one thing I wish I thought more about beforehand.... so I wanted to let you guys know about that just so you can be prepared with your schedules etc.
We did get some GREAT pics of us and the sunset outside the church so it all worked out. But I was hoping to get some pics outside at the hall as well.. and that didn't work out. Just a friendly heads up.

ohh man, so by what time would you say that it was officially dark by? like 5:30-6? Because my church ceremony is at 2:30 it's only 30min and then speaking with my photographer we anticipate to take a few shots in the church and be out of there by 3:30. The place where I am taking pictures blocked off 4-6 for us to take pics and then we'll be heading back to the RH. I just want to make sure that I'll at least have until 5:30 with some daylight, thanks!

If you are taking pics from 4-6 then you should be fine. You will get the last legs of daylight... and your pics will be gorgeous because they will all be sunset pics!!! But by 6 the sun will most likely be totally gone. So do your best to make sure you are there and taking pics by 4:30 the latest; this way you will have AT LEAST a half hour of good pics in light and then probably an additional half hour of sunset pics.

I was pissed because the families FORCED us to do a mass and that REALLY killed my picture time. I shouldn't have given in to that mass stuff.... it was boring and seemed to go on forever... and DH father is a deacon so he was doing the ceremony too... I just wanted him to shut up!!!

I think that sunset time though.. that's when the sun is totally set. the daylight starts going down about 5ish. 5:30 was like peak sunset colors and by 6 there was no sun left.
