Future hubby and I are having a backyard 'meet and greet' party for our families and engagement party. I thought it would be fun to get a novelty cake (just not sure what it would be just yet). There was someone who was referred to me who does amazing cakes but she isnt available for July. Can anyone recommend someone? I know there are MANY bakeries who do this but I dont want to spend an arm and a leg. If you know someone private or a bakery who isnt ridiculous I would LOVE their name!

Yes I do... http://www.dreamcakesbymr.com/ ...they do amazing work at very reasonable prices. I was going to get a groom's cake through them until my RH told me I had to use their bakery! Pics in Album.

Try Brian at Sweet Karma in East Meadow. I just ordered my groom's cake for the RD there and he's awesome

A friend of a friend brought a great Cheeseburger Cake to our friend's Graduation BBQ a few yrs back. I will ask where he picked it up. It was delish and looked just like a cheeseburger. It was great.
