Great! It is sweet to just hang out with DH and not be doing wedding stuff 24/7.
Am about 1/3 of the way through thank you notes. I just write a few each day, nothing major.
Still getting used to the new name and sometimes seeing the rings on our hands gives me butterflies!
Anyone else get asked if they are going to name any future kids Noel?

Hard to believe it's been one month already!!! Love not having to do any wedding stuff anymore & just enjoy spending time w/each other. We're leaving for Hawaii in three weeks and I hope to write the thank you's on the long plane ride!!

haha. that's funny about Noel. We haven't heard that yet. Gosh, I need to get moving on thank-yous. We didn't pic a picture yet!

We haven't picked a photo yet either, but I wanted to start the notes anyway, while my memory is still fresh. I bought some cute stationary and will insert a photo before I mail them out.
Old fashioned, but seemed like the best way (at least for me) to do them. DH's handwriting is so bad, the rabbi even commented on it when he signed the ketubah.

Hi ladies - happy 1 month!
Things are finally calming down here...my DH had bad pneumonia for the first 3 1/2 weeks of our marriage & I had severe bronchitis last week, but we're both off of our meds now & ready to start our 2nd month off on a much better foot!
We still haven't started the thank you cards yet (that's next!), but we've somehow managed to close on our 'fixer upper' house (woo hoo!) and I just got hired for a new job today which I'll be starting on 12/27! So while I don't miss the wedding planning, we've both been doing plenty of other things to keep busy!
Here's to a WONDERFUL 2nd month for us all!!

Hey Girls!! Happy Anniversary!! Everything is going great! DH says he feels like he gets to see me more that I am not planning anymore hehe I kinda miss it though. My life is WAY less hectic, which I DO NOT miss! We haven't gotten our pics back yet, so I haven't started the Thank You cards, but I have thrown myself into Xmas card mode so I will be doing those instead. Hope everyone has a great holiday season and can't wait to see those TY card pics =)
Here is the pic I am sending out in our Xmas cards and the address label for our Xmas cards AND TY cards =) The pic was taken at a Christmas themed area of Disney on our HM...pretty cool huh!
