unless u know your exact menu and your exact program details...those dont have to be done yet. fittings...i would wait until closer to the wedding...on here it sounds like most people are going around sept-ish. you wont need your shoes until the fitting...
and for the flower girl dress...u could probably pick one out but i wouldnt order it yet cuz kids grow and u still have time.
i would start looking at invitations and think about ordering them. i have to send my stuff to the printer by the end of this month to get it for sept. then give myself time to assemble them and have things get calligraphy and such.
i would figure out hair and make up...that and invites are probably most important on the list right now. it would be nice to have the hair accessories for your trial, but not suppppper necessary.

Re: November Brides....
Of all you said you didn't do, the most important one in my opinion to start working on is the invitations...I knew what I wanted and ordered them in early April but it took 2 months (7 proofs!!) until the invitation company got them right! So, give yourself enough time to look at multiple proofs and then have them printed and delivered.
As for hair and make-up...do you plan to go to your regular stylist and salon or do you want to have someone come to your house? If you want to have someone come to you, you should look into that soon because people book up quickly.
All the rest you have time for.

Re: November Brides....
woo hoo november brides! You're OK I agree maybe the most important to think about is the invites... start shopping around and think about wording etc. The programs and menus can wait until you finalize all the details!
I still need to book my HONEYMOON so I am a little nervous but I am in the works now with Travel Tom

Re: November Brides....
i did a lot early but that's because i was engaged in JULY and am a worry type.
i'd say get the invites and book hair and makeup. i think november is a popular month and services will book fast. like maybe hold some hotel rooms as well - anything that could be 'booked' - shoes you can order on zappos or something. dresses will always be available for little girls, i'd think - though i don't know, their mom's ordered them, i don't know how long that takes - david's has a pretty quick turnaround time if you go there.

im 2 weeks before you and i'm sorta in the same boat. i'd definitely start your invitations and figuring out your hair/makeup opinions. FH and I got ordered ours.
i'm not ordering my flower girl dresses until aug. or sept.
i'm also not doing any programs or menus until i have a finalized menu and ceremony layout.
my dress doesn't come in until july, but i wont be going for fittings until aug/sept. when i see the dress and get a swatch i can get my shoes, accessories, etc. lol.

Do you all know there is a NOVEMBER BRIDES 08 thread? It is over 22 pages long.
I 'notebook' it so it was easy to find.

Re: November Brides....
i'm in the same boat.. those are about the same things i haven't done yet. I had a few set backs so i slowed down on planning. I plan on booking my hair and make up trials for some time next month or by august (but i already have both booked)...
I am DIYing invites... and we are late to order.. but are ordering them by the end of this week.
Picked out a flower girl dress..but they told us to order in august or early sept. in case she has a growth spurt. Just hoping my dress choice doesn't get discontinued like half of my choices did.
and as the other girls said..menus and programs can be done later when u know more about your food choices and ceremony!!
