Heyy, the plans are okay, So far I booked the: Church, Hall, DJ, Photographer, & Florist! & I ordered my dress! We completed the precana..
In terms of what I am missing:
-We are not sure if we will do video yet, but we did meet with Bellarino & my FH & I thought they were great, but since we are on a budget we would like to shop around some more...
-My bms & I plan to meet next month to shop for dresses--we plan to check out RK Bridal & David's Bridal...i picked out some pics that I like from mags for them..
We plan to order our invitations this Friday, FH's mom is so nice--she offered to pay for them!
We plan to meet with Elsa Rings & In & Out Travel in April to check out wedding bands & honeymoon stuff..
I still don't know what favors to do & I don't know where to have the rehearsal dinner!

Re: November Brides
Josie-
I think we are pretty much in the same spot as you.
We have booked: Church Reception Photographer Florist DJ Order my dress on Sunday from Bridal Reflections.
Next big thing is find Brides Maid dresses. We will begin Pre-cana in March, every Thurday for a month (FI is not happy). I have an invite I like but haven't ordered or thought about what it should say.
We are definately on our way I would say!!!!

Re: November Brides
yes--we seem to be in good shape! We have about 9 more months to go!
i wanted to ask you--since you are also going to be in a strapless dress & the wedding is in November--do you plan on wearing anything over your dress? My dress comes with a matching shawl--I hope we won't need anything, but I wanted to have something just in case...

Re: November Brides
Some one said they would let me borrow a faux fur wrap. Not sure how that would look, my dress is lace....

Re: November Brides
hmm, the fur may be nice but you would have to try it on with the dress to see the whole look,
I am probably going to use the shawl, but in the meantime I would like to see if I can find a shrug (i think thats what they're called) that is made out of the transparent or 'illusion material' -If you know of where I can go to find this let me know

Re: November Brides
Regina - I am in the same stage at you are! What colors and styles are looking for in a bm dress?
Josie - I ordered a bolero jacket by Maggie for my strapless dress.

Re: November Brides
thanks missy--yes I remember the bolero jacket, once I get my first fitting--I would like to try different styles on to see which one would go best with my dress..

Re: November Brides
I saw a BM dress I really liked. It was simple, staples that went to the calf with slight slit. One problem, one of my BM doesn't want to wear strapless. And she would be the one who looked the best
So I saw a two piece dress. I would post but I cant figure out how to
Very simple again...straight skirt, and the top is a tank with a boatneck. Not sure yet of color. I have seen the dress in mags and on internet, but need to see color swatches. Thinking fall colors..love to find a rust or cinnamon color.

Re: November Brides
Hi November girls. I just started to look at invites this weekend and on March 8th we're going to order the BM's dresses. What color flowers are you doing?
Regina- since we have the same dress I was wondering if you were wearing anything on your shoulders too....
Other than that we have the place, photo and video, band, my dress and in the process of booking a florist and most of our HM planned. I feel behind!

Re: November Brides
Ok - I can add registries too at Bloomingdales and Fortunoffs. I had one make-up trial but did not like it so I'm still trying to find someone else. Have someone to do my hair too!

Merf-
I have a friend who is going to loan me a cape with fur, but not sure how that is going to work out. We have two totally different tastes.
So not sure yet about what I will wear. I dont want to cover up the lace..it is so pretty.
What did you say were you BM dresses again??

Re: November Brides
I think we're doing black Amsale BM dresses in 2 different styles- one for the MOH's and one for the BM's. I am going on March 8th hopefully to order them with everyone! Have you decided yet?

Re: November Brides
I booked with Cassarino as well. I really like Razz. Our photgrapher is going to be Mikey, Cassarino's son.
