When are you sending out your invites??

When is your shower or when do you think your shower is?? I am trying to figure it out...I HATE SURPRISES

Our RSVP date is October 1st...still unsure about when to send invites...maybe August 24th??

My shower is supposeddd to be a surprise, but I know the date...September 12. I cannot be surprised, I am a little detective!!!!

HAHA I AM TRYING SO HARD TO FIGURE IT OUT ! Did your shower invites go out yet? Mine went out beggining of July so originally I thought Sept but now thinking maybe end of August since they went early July?? what you think??

Also, my wedding is the week after yours and I am thinking of sending my invites out first week of Sept so Aug 24 for you sounds right !

Shower invites went out on Monday of this week!!! So sounds like your shower might be a little earlier than mine, but don't ruin your surprise like I did!! It will be fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our invites are going out the first week of Sept. I think right after labor day is it?
RSVP will be for 4 weeks after we went them... so the beg of Oct.

I think the shower and backlorette are both in Sept.

We're sending our our invites the end of August and our RSVP date is October 5th.

I think my shower maybe the end of august of mid september

RSVP date is 10/1. I'm hoping to have invites in the mail by second week of August (I have to factor in overseas mailing time).

I have no idea when my shower is. I don't think invitations have gone out yet. I'm sure if I really wanted to I could figure it out (I'm assuming FMIL and FSIL will come up from FL but who knows rolleyes: with them).

first week of september is actually before labor day..its so late this year..labor day is the 7th !

My RSVP is Oct 13. I figured I would send my invites out like Sept 1 ! So I am on the right track based on all you girls !

Yup.... so the end of the first week. Let's say about Sept 8th.

My rsvp date is october 14th, I am still waiting for my invites so I am hoping that they go out no later then sept 1st, but who knows!
As for my shower, I have no clue and I havent even heard a peep from any of my bridesmaids. My sister who is my MOH said she will be keeping it a secret from my mom as well. (My mom can NOT keep a secret!!!!)

im not Nov. but darn close so maybe I can help.... I was told your invites go out 2 months prior to your RSVP date and your RSVP date should be one month prior to the wedding date...

so I sent my invites out today, the RSVP date is Sept. 30th

my shower was this past sunday....but I had requested that my shower be some time this summer because I am a teacher and I wanted to have it before I went back to work.

My RSVP date is October 5th so we are going to mail ours out the end of August.

And I am not sure when my shower is it is a SURPRISE!!!!! I want to know already!!!!!

I was thinking...you are not giving your guests much time to responsd...which may not be such a bad thing if you think about it...creates a sense of urgency!

we are sending out invites end of next week and my RSVP is Sept 15th

my shower is September 26th (I'm controlling and demanded to know when and where!)
