Was just wondering how everyone is doing with their plans!!
So far, so good I think...I have been able to:
* booked the church * booked the reception site (Westbury Manor) * got the DJ * Flowers by Burton * Cassarino Photography * ordered wedding favors (x-mas ornament w/ irish theme) * ordered wedding invites * ordered wedding dress * got veil/tiara * picked BM dress (but they have not been ordered yet) * started looking into OOT hotels * got outfit for RB * registered at Fortunoffs/crate and barrel/Bed Bath & Beyond * reserved Jennifer from Fairytale for the day - still need to go for trial (hair and make-up)
Still need to:
-pick out rings -pick out tuxes -reserve limos -get fg dress -put together programs -put together menus -need to get shoes/undergarments -book honeymoon (FI's job)

Re: November Brides
I'm glad to hear we are all pretty much in the same place!! Is anyone really stressed out yet??
For some reason I'm getting a bit stressed about blocking hotels....I think it has more to do with the fact that my wedding is a day wedding and I need to find some place for everyone to hangout later...there are not too many hotels on LI with bars!!!!! That is what is stressing me out!

Re: November Brides
Regina - The Holiday Inn in Plainview looked good. They had a nice bar/club and both DJa nd live entertainment on the weekends. The Inn at Fox Hollow worked out better for us logistically, but the Holiday Inn was our runner up. I think Neicey had people back there after her wedding, too, if you want to ask her!

Re: November Brides
Hey Mary-
How is the old married woman?
Thanks for the idea, I am going to go riding around this weekend in search of a hotel. Right now I tentatively have the Wingate Hotel blocked, but want to see if I can find anything cheaper and perhaps closer to Port Washington. I will definately check the Holiday Inn out!
Thanks,
Regina

Re: November Brides
the garden city hotel may be too far but they have a place - if you are considering the winngate then they are close to there anyway....even the uniondale marriot has a bar....but the holiday inn was nice - firends stayed there for a wedding recently!!
