We are thinking of Thailand - but we need some backup plans - anyone have any suggestions....we were thinking Italy or Greece but the weather in Europe during that time of year is not warm!

I had a the same problem cause we are getting married in feb... so we are going to punta cana for 1 week after the wedding and in the summer we are going to italy...

We have an 11/01/09 wedding date so we're thinking of doing a week in Corsica (hot) and then a week in Switzerland (cold) to enjoy 2 different types of places. If you want warm the Mediterranean like Greece, Corsica (south of France) and the like are ALWAYS warm! Also the Carribean if you want to stay closer to home & same some $$!! Hope that helps!!

I stand corrected!! I was always under the impression that Greece and Corsica were hot this time of year, but looking at it online it's only about 55-70 degrees in Greece & Corsica. I'm shocked! I thought it was much warmer. I think I'm gonna have to rethink our honeymoon now...Thanks for enlightening me, hah.
Btw, we're not using a travel agent. I think we're just gonna plan it ourselves.

Greece is cold in November. It's winter. We are going to go in August/septmber next year. For our honeymoon going to aruba.

I just returned from Greece 3 weeks ago and it was starting to get cold. Islands like Santorini basically close up between end of October and early April. I would not recommend Greece this time of year for a romantic getaway.
