Now i can't decide b/t florist

So.. i went to see Flower Barn and J@ck & Rose yesterday and both guys were great.

We were at J@ck and Rose from 4:30-6:45 talking with Jack pretty much about my entire life lol.

SO.. he gave me an awesome price so now the choice comes down between Pedestals or J@ck and Rose. The price for J & R was $700 cheaper but i am not getting my tree card table piece that I was getting at pedestals. (I LOVE the idea of a tree w/flowers on it!) BUT i am able to get ALL HIGH CP's at J & R instead of high/low.

I'm going to call J & R to see how much the tree would be if i want it but $700 is such a high price difference.


So my question is... do u think i should sacrifice my card table piece for all high CP's?

i would call and ask how much extra it would be for the tree....you can probably even bargain that a little. i would imagine the tree being about $150 - $200 extra...so if thats the case and i understood your post right, you would still be saving $500.

ITA....Unless you're not getting the card table CP bc J@ck and Rose can't supply it, not sure? Then I'd prob go with Pedestals if it's really something you want, which it sounds like it is!

how much is pedastals charging you for the tree? could you maybe do another card table piece with j@ck & ro$e?

700 is a lot of money!!

I think you should go with J@ck and Rose! The card table is only seen for a few minutes, but having high centerpieces in the main dining hall will be so much more beautiful! I think focusing the beauty on the dining room is better.
BUT, is their quality the same as Pedestals? Make sure you feel comfortable that J & R will make your wedding the best ever. I think on this site Pedestals is a more respected vendor, so maybe take that into consideration.

we called pedestals and said listen we wanna work with you but this other place is quoting us 500 dollars less and are including a few more things....Pedestals threw in the things the other florist was going to and reduced the price so we booked with them!

yeah fh is the one that called...but he spoke to our guy and asked him about it....he put fh on hold (i guess to go ask) and then came back and said no problem!

i would go with the deal with all high cp's, after all thats what everyone will be looking at all night!

the tree thing is cute but guests will see that for like 5 seconds, i think its more worth while to go with the cp's you really want

ITA definitely chat with Pedestals about the price.

I agree with most of the other posts first call Pedistals and see if they can match what you want. OR sacrafice the tree and get all High CP's.
$700 is a lot to save

I havn't begun my florsit search yet so I don't know if this is even possible but what about hiring both? go with *** for the CP's and bo'k's and stuff and can youask pedistals to just do the tree for you, and if so how much?

Liking both vendors seems like a good problem to have though. Glad your meetings went well.

I would definitely go with the all high centerpieces. You can probably DIY something for way less than $700 for the card table, and you'll be saving yourself a ton of money! Maybe you can get Manolo's :)
