i thought they were sent out 8 weeks before the wedding? i see so many girls with dates around mine who have already sent theirs out. i havent even started putting them together

some people send them out more than 8 weeks if they have a lot of OOT guests of if the wedding is on a friday and people have to take off etc.....
don't worry! 8 weeks is plenty of time

I would say the averagei s 8 -10 weeks. With an RSVP return date of anywhere from 5-4 weeks before the wedding.
Also if the weddings fall on or near a holiday it is a good idea to send them a little extra early.

Hey date twin~~ don't worry, you have time...I sent mine out the week of Feb 15th just because they were in my house, all assembled and I got antsy.

Oh no! Hope I didn't freak you out!! I wanted 6 weeks for an RSVP date to minimize tracking people down (which I'll prob have to do anyway).

I think the etiquette is to send them out 6-8 weeks in advance.
Some people like to send them a lot earlier than that, but its not necessary.

our rsvp is 4 weeks from the wedding. honestly, maybe its better. as terrible as this sounds, we didnt do STDs because we're hoping not everyone can show. we also dont have a huge # of OOTs, except for close family who have known for a long time now.

our wedding is April 23 & our response date is March 20. we mailed our invitations February 8.
so they where mailed out 10 weeks before the wedding & 6 weeks before the response date. i was hoping people would respond earlier this way. we have only received 25 responses so far & we sent out 74 invites.

its actually a personal preference i happened to sent mine earlier because people tend to take til the last minute to rsvp i wanted to give them extra time that way is not that annoying to hunt them down

Etiquette says 6-8 weeks so you'll be fine. Some people send earlier if they have a lot of OOT guests.

im sending mine about 9 1/2 weeks in advance, mine is the week after yours, and im sending them out around 3/10!
