Now after reading posts I'm confused with my wording. So my grandparents paid off the rest of our hall. We had originally started the payments. FH's parents are paying for like 1 vendor and favors. We are paying for the rest of the vendors and plan on giving back some of the money my grandparents laid out, it was a surprise. My mother isn't able at the moment to contribute. Right now, I have our names 'together with their families' underneath. Is this ok? Or should I be putting my name, grandaughter of grandparents names and FH's parents name on the invites, but then I have to leave out my mother?

Re: Now I'm thinkg about my invite wording...
I would keep it as 'together with families' this way, you aren't excluding anyone and it includes everyone

i think that is appropriate considering you cant say parents... and because both sides are contributing

I think 'together with our families' is great for that situation that you are in. The last person you want to upset if your mom. Stick with what you have.
