Now I've heard it ALL!!!!!

DH (heheheheheh) just called me and asked what we're having for dinner. I replied 'I'll see when I get home after I stop at Babies R Us.' He asks why I'm going there, I say 'My co-worker is having a baby, tomorrow's her last day, and I want to get her a few things and make a basket.' He replies 'Are we going to have babies?' I said 'Sure, one day.' He says 'HOW ABOUT SOON.' Me, 'How soon is 'soon'?' He says 'Like in 2007.' I said 'HECK NO.'

Now, I have a feeling Ricky's gone insane, or maybe b/c his best friend just became a father last Friday, and another one of his friends is having a baby in September, but this is seriously OUT OF LEFT FIELD!!!

Do men get 'baby fever????????????'

YES! MEN DO GET BABY FEVER, BUT SOMETIMES IT IS JUST A PHASE AND IT GOES AWAY ONCE THEY REALIZE THAT THE BABY DOESN'T LEAVE! LOL. MY FBIL WENT THROUGH THAT...LOL

OK...WHAT THE HELL...SORRY THIS IS IN ALL CAPS..LOL

I think they do! My DH slipped the other day in front of his mom too! We were talking about how hot the upstairs of our house gets with the sun & he says 'our baby is going to fry in the front bedroom' Both his mom & I looked at him bc he has NEVER said 'our baby' before!!

Men definately get baby fever! DH asked me the other night when I might be ready to TTC. Although I am in my mid 30's and DH is no longer in his 30's, and my clocking is banging away, I'm just not ready!

Yup, they sure do, sometimes worse than us ladies. Think of it this way, they have it so easy: they get to have a good time one night and then bam 9 months later they hand out some cigars!! No wonder he wants to start right away!!

Find a child, and make him baby sit. By himself.
That is the only cure.
It should only take 30 minutes.

yes men get baby fever.

what you need to do is babysit a baby overnite or for the whole day, both of you. make sure it is for the whole day, or overnite. nothing short of 6 hours will do. try to get a 2 year old that will have at least one tantrum in that time period. that will cure it.

This mad eme chuckle! At least he wants to have babies, that's a start!!! Go home and remind him of everything he would have to do - 3am feedings and changing diapers, next to no sleep, etc and see if he's really ready!

FH and I have already stated we're going to wait 4-5 years b4 trying, so we can be settled financially first.

When FH and I both started dating and new it was meant to be we talked about how we couldnt wait to get married and travel the world b4 we have babies. Now? Every baby we walk past, he says, I cant wait to have babies as soon as we get married. HELLO???????? What happened to lets enjoy life first. He says we can enjoy it with a baby. Then he tells me he cant wait for me to be prego so he can rub cocoa butter on my belly
