Now that

I decided to still marry my FH

I'm stumped on CP.... Money is very tight now that my mom isn't working because of her surgery so I'm footing up alot of the bills. So I want something not so expensive , but still 'Hollywood Glam'... Anyone have any ideas?.. E, Barb... I know you girls got me on this

What do you want something not so expensive for? Decor? Favors? CP's?

Re: Now that

i would go with all red roses...my florist told me roses r the cheapest to get because they r filler flowers..and we ll know how good red roeses look...u can buy ur own vases and go to a local florist for the flowers..even add some candles around it...hth im not that glamorous

Yeah I have a florist.. I didn't go with CP's with her because I wasn't sure what I was going to do...

I was gonna do the feathers in the eifel vases with light pink diamond things inside (As scene in Walmart) lolol

But I dunno.

I also scratched out the Candy buffet as my favor too.. So thats another thing I have to debate now too

Re: Now that

I'm super budget concious as well with CPs...I decided to get hurricane goblets instead of florals, and I got them on sale at Dillard's for 12 bucks a set of 3!

Of course I'm SOL now because we only have 15, and it seems we may have more than 15 tables and the red ones are no longer available because it's not Christmas

But they also have clear and amber ones, and they're very elegant with a gold stem, those could work. Pics are in my album. Not on sale they're $20/set of three, and you can get them from BBB or Dillards.

Re: Now that

forgo flowers and do floating candles

You can use 2-3 vases per table, fill them with clear rocks or rocks that match your decor and BAM instant ambiance and glam..... you can also use fruit or baby breath.
Add votives and flower pedals on the outside for a softer affect

like this:

Totally!!!

What about something like this? You could get a feather boa and wrap it around a hurricane vase with a candle.
