Now that I have my dress...

How am I suppossed to store it for the next 9 months??? The store told me to leave it in the plastic bag thing. I also heard from other people not to leave it in there but rather wrap it in a sheet and put it under a bed?
What is the correct way to store a dress for so long?

Wrap it in a sheet and then put it in the plastic bag...I had mine stored that way for almost a year! No problems at all...

I'd be a little afraid to keep it under the bed though, it tends to get a little dusty under there.

I kept mine laying flat rather than hanging it.

I would have to pay! So I brought it home. Besides I don't trust the store. They might lose it!

My mom always tells her customers to drap a sheet around it and hang it from the back of a door but... normally the dresses are stuffed with tissue and filler in the shoulders and boobs so that it dosnt get droopie or get hanger shoulders.

I have my gown wrapped in a white sheet - inside the garment back which is hanging from the back of a door.

The store told me to keep the zipper on the garment back open 9-12 inches from the bottom so that the gown can 'breath'.

I stored my veil on a hanger with a pillowcase over it to protect from dust.
