Now that you're planning a wedding, do you notice that...

You want attend more weddings? Not because you want to compare other weddings to yours, but because weddings are fun and sooo much more relaxing if you are a guest and didn't do any of the planning? I just wish I knew more people that are getting married!!

YES! but now of all times I have none coming up...the next one is my cousin's wedding the week before mine.

actually it is stressing me out a bit... we have at least 3 weddings we are currently invited to, and now I feel like I want to at least cover our plates (in terms of a gift) because now I know how expensive everything is... however i dont know if we can afford to go to all these weddings now!!!

yes so true...
now i always want to go to weddings, before i never did. I just went to one at the watermill, another at the woodlands. next one i have coming up is in november at Jericho Terrace. can't wait. i am hoping to get some ideas ;)

I think I just have a new appreciation for weddings after I know what goes into planning them. But I could see it being financially hard if I had a lot of weddings at once, with buying a gift, and possible travel, etc.

We have 8 weddings to attend this year which is exciting because I can get a lot of good ideas, but also has its negative because of the big expensive this will cause us. They are so much fun to go to though.

We are one of the last of our groups of friends to get married so we don't have many to go to. I wish we had more though.

YES- all of them will make us broke but I cant wait to go- next one in july- actually 2 in july, and one in august- and then none til next june- unless someone decides to get married in between there, i cant wait!

Yes I do, my FI and I have 5 five weddings this year. And I can'r wait to go because I can just relax and enjoy myself.

Definitely! I am so excited to be going to a 'Gatsby' style wedding at the Carlyle, because I haven't seen it, and that is what we are chosing to do, just to mix it up a little. It's more of a mingling scene, but in July I get to go to one, and I think it will just ease my mind, and make sure I like that style of wedding.

In a way I wish I did have weddings coming up but then again I am glad that I don't have any coming up cuz of the money you would haveto give as a gift. I hope that didn't come off the wrong way but we are paying for o ur own wedding and the less money we have to give out as gifts and what not the better

OH MY GOD YES!!! I went to one inApril, have another that I am in in July then another one in March and I can't wait to get more invites just so I can get more ideas and look at things with more detail.
