It does! My MW recommended having one, but it's out of pocket payment. I guess my sister and SIL will have to be my doulas!

lol - one of my BM's keep telling me to become a doula..... the service sounds sooo comforting!

my GF used a doula and was very happy, these days the options that we have. I think this is something I would want, knowing how spoilt I am ![]()

my hospital provided doulas at no charge...maimonidias health ctr in bklyn
It did make a difference...and so did having a MIDWIFE. She stayed with me the whole time excpet for maybe 20 min total when she left the room to heat up warm compresses!
