My BP went through a lot of trouble getting me to cooperate last week with weekend plans, I was difficult, but they got me there... FINALLY! I OWE THEM BIG TIME!
It was at La Motta on the marina in Port Washington. It was BEAUTIFUL!!! RIGHT on the water!!! I have pictures (will post soon) It was a brunch, what the food tasted like, I have NO idea! I was too nervous to eat!!! I didn't cry which I thought I would've but, I handled myself very well, if I must say so myself, CONSIDERING I was out until 330am the night before!![]()
Anyway, my MOH chose such cute invites! It was a picture of me (hehe) when I was about 5 or 6 and says something about me being all grown up and getting married (picture to come), the center pieces were baskets filled with sugar cookie mix and fruit crisp mix... the favor was little jars of jelly with a tag saying something along the lines of 'spreading showers of happiness' (I dont remember, will post a pic of it) and a couple of other little extras and EVERYTHING was done in my wine and champagne colors! JOHN brought me a dozen roses! (he's so sweet)![]()
My registries are pretty much GONE! We got almost EVERYTHING - John's basement is FILLED!![]()
It was so exciting, nothing like I expected! It's a blur to me, I WISH I could remember some things! I don't even recall people shouting 'SURPRISE!'
It was amazing! I'm sad that it's over though...![]()

These were the centerpieces my MOH made, I took a pic when I got home, there is cookie mixes inside of it... you can't really tell in the pic
Me, my grandmother and mother (they would kill me if they knew I was posting their pic)
Here's a pic of me with my lingerie, each BM bought a piece and they hung it on the umbrella, they were just swaying in the wind, i thought it was so cute!
