Does anyone have a pic of a chocolate frosting cake with tiny pink sugar flowers scattered around the cake? The flowers are supposed to be cherry blossoms. The cake appeared in a magazine.

I think I found your cake.
Martha Stewart, Fall 2003, page 275
The cake is just as you described (chocolate with cherry blossoms.) Also, it is 4 layers and octagon shaped. The cake is entitled, 'floating cherry blossoms.'
Unfortunately I do not have a scanner so I can't post a picture. But maybe you have this magazine or someone else can post it.
BTW- If this isn't the actual cake you saw, then it is very close.
