i've seen a few cakes from receptions there & its not really what i had in mind for my cake. i definitely want carrot cake, not yellow or chocolate, & i'm a bit concerned.
should i be looking for a separate bakery??

funny, i was just thinking the same thing---I had a tall stacked cake in mind-the ones posted seem to be really little. I refuse to spend a lot more money on a cake though...

They did not give us much of a choice. I did not care too much about the cake, but when I saw it at my wedding, I thought it was SO awesome! But I think that is mostly because my florist puts tons of flowers on it...I will post pics as soon as I get some.

I would definately get the cake elsewhere if you want something special. They are limited with their choices except for fillings, I know they had quite a bunch to choose from. They are also limited with decorating the cake unless your florist adds flowers. It did taste very good though, just so you know!

I wish I could remember all of the filling choices but I don't. I know strawberry was one, chocolate mousse, and that's about all I remember. I knew I wanted chocolate pudding so my brain shut off once I heard tey had chocolate.
