Hi guys, Here is my predicament. My usual hair/color stylist screwed up my hair when I went to her last month (she charges $230 for a hair color and highlights using the foil method and all natural hair color products). I went back to get it fixed the week after but I am skeptical about going back to her before my wedding in April. I read on this board that Gina and Judy at Nubest in Manhasset does really good hair coloring. I just called Nubest and they gave me someone called Maria. Does anyone have experience with this salon and have any further recommendations? Also has anyone had their hair done by Maria?
will really appreciate your responses!!! Karen

I was going to this girl Tricia who I got many recommendations for....and she messed up my hair beyond belief....I also hate going to Nubest, the owner is an a**hole, why isn't the renovation complete already, it's been almost 2 YEARS! It's so annoying to walk in there and have to deal with that

I have been going there for years... for color I use CHRISTIAN, or if he is booked MAX. They both are excellent and do a great job. YEs the owner and many of the people there are a bit prickish, but I do my best to ignore them! And the renovations are just about finished.

Catch- Christian also does my coloring! I have been going to him for about 5 years now and Vincent has been cutting my hair about 13 years. I can't rave about them enough. I guess it depends on who you go to. I was just there on Sat and the renovations are about 80% completed and it didn't interfere with the quality of my haircut at all.
