Do you write in pen or pencil the little numbers on the response envelopes? Also where on the back did you write yours?

Pencil in a corner is how we're doing ours.

Re: Numbering response card envelopes
i haven't done mine yet, but pencil in the upper left hand corner is usually best (and easiest when you're looking through them!)

I used an invisible ink pen and wrote their names on the back.....not one person forgot to write their name!

Are u afraid that the pencil will get worn off, like if it rains or something?

I didn't think about that-- but i guess the same thing could happen with a pen. I like the invisible ink idea too!!

I forgot to do this! BUT I had planned to do it in pencil on the back. I hope everytone remembers to write their names on the response cards.

That's EXACTLY what I did too. It was great, too, for finding the people on my list of invitees where I kept track since I didn't do them in any particular order.

Re: Numbering response card envelopes
I didn't care - I wrote it in green ink in the bottom corner - the same pen I used to address the invites. No one even looks and if they do who cares? JMO

Re: Numbering response card envelopes
I wrote mine in pencil and kinda drove myself crazy making sure they were all numbered right in my Excel sheet... and we haven't gotten one card back without a name on it.
