Im just wondering on how the tables are numbered at the reception. My family sits on one side Grooms family sits on the other. do I number it in order or do i put table one my side table two his side. Im so confused. I think it goes in order but now i just cant seem to remember

Relax it will be okay. The numbers go in order, but you don't have to keep all of his Fh family on 'his' side. You can mix the up the table. The number are more to help the wait staff and guest remember where they are sitting.
