It has been a while since I have attended a nuptial mass. Does anyone remember when the bride and groom kiss? It it before or after communion? Thanks

I don't feel so alone now.
The reason why I am wondering is that I would like FH to lift my veil before he kisses me, but if we take communion before that, then that would be awkward to accept with blusher over my mouth

I thought it was after the kiss...but I could be wrong. Maybe someone has a program that lists the order.

We had a Nuptial Mass. You say your vows and are married before communion.

I wanted the kiss to be at the very end, before we walked out of the church, so we moved the kiss to the end of the mass. Although the vows took place before communion.

Vows took place before Communion so we kissed then, we also had a big smooch at the end.
But my father lifted my blusher as he gave my hand to joe
