I went to one very briefly...it is hard to take advice from someone who doesn't seem in the best possible physical shape and health for themselves...how could they know what's best for you? So, I stopped going...
But, if you find someone that you respect and trust, I think it can be very beneficial.

Re: Nutritionist
I went to one, he was amazing! He put everything into a new perspective. I was never overweight, but I felt that I hit a plateau and that's why I consulted a nutritionist.
THe BEST THING I've EVER DONE for my health! (The results were amazing)

Re: Nutritionist
some do but some don't call & ask your insurance company. They can tell you. My daughters only covers if she has diabetes but my insurance does cover it.

Re: Nutritionist
Mine wasn't, but the blood work ordered was covered (just wanted to check tyriod, etc.)
But he wasn't very expensive. FM me if you'd like the info.
