NWR: 1 yr old birthday party..

hi ladies!
my son is turning 1 in January and I am looking for a place to have a party for him...does anyone know anywhere that is not too expensive? its too cold to do it outside, and my house is too tight...im having about 40 pple

without breaking the bank LOL

im right by Hofstra University but i dont mind driving to suffolk...not too far though.

When is your sons bday? My son is Jan 28th..i still cant believe it!

HIs b-day is Jan 6th I know i can't believe it either! I'm having his b-day at my house b/c thats what we did for his brother, who is turning 2 in Dec.( I have my hands full)

But, we are having his 2nd b-day at Little Sunshine Play Center in Sayville. Very affordable and lots of fun!!

How about at Gymboree in the Source Mall or at chucky cheese?

You could also consider doing it at a VFW; they can be resonible to rent and you just bring your own food.

My shower was just at pompii in west hempstead i think it is like 28 pp + tax and gratuity.

My son is turning 1 in January also!! We are probably doing his birthday at the firehouse in Lindenhurst, FH's dad is a member and we will have it catered because it it too cold to have it outside, and we don't have room to have it at our house!
Have you tried doing a brunch at a restaurant? A friend of mine did that for her Daughter's first birthday, she said it was much cheaper than a dinner.

PS, its nice to know we have a lot of aquarius boys in the house! LOL

You could see if the fire house does parties or also like a VFW or Knights of Columbus you may be able to get a good deal. One of my friends had her sons first birthday at the fire house and had different characters come and entertain the children.
