NWR: 6 degrees of reality TV
So over the years, I've discovered that I am somehow connected to a ridiculous number of people on reality TV.
Flo, the first winner of Amazing Race was a classmate of my best friend
One of the clowns from Amazing Race was a friend of my uncle's in high school
My grad school professor was on Amazing Race
An American Idol kid (from Selden) went to school with my BIL
Ethan from Survivor was my sister's roommates soccer coach at FDU in Teaneck
Heather, the first winner of Hell's Kitchen was my roommate's cousin
The whiny chick who was an amputee from Amazing Race went to a coworker's church
The did a Trading Spaces on the same street as friends of my sister
And now apparently Leanne from Project Runway is a family friend of my sister's friends in Colorado
Plus Jililan from Project Runway last season was also from Selden and I grew up in Centereach and we're the same age so I MUST know someone she knows.
It just gets more and more ridiculous every television season. So if you want to get on reality TV, become friends with me! It'll definitely improve your chances.
