Hey ladies! I just got a 6th grade math leave replacement. However, I have never taught 6th grade or just math. Any help or suggestions would be great!!! Please help me get through the end of the year!!!

Re: NWR: 6th grade math teachers
Is it in an NYC school or LI? I know the 6th grade math teachers in my school are on the Pythagorean theorem.

Re: NWR: 6th grade math teachers
I don't teach math but I have taught that grade. Just remember . . . BE FIRM!!!! At this point in the year, it is going to be tough and the kids will try anything to get out of whatever you want them to do.
Don't listen to them . . . if you are unsure of something LIE (to the kids)!
You will be fine - just remember YOU are the boss!
