So I did the zombie 5k this past sat in riverhead. Had a lot of fun survived the race with one flag left. My veteran fh has done 4 of these and almost finished with all 3 flags. I gotta say im suprised I made it through. The obstacles a marine style obstacles and the main course terrain was rough so I am pretty proud of myself. I've lost 14lbs in training for the race and the wedding now im determine to do it again next yr and survive with more flags. Great motivation and so such an awesome run.

I also attended my first drink and draw event soooo much fun and found out I am pretty good at painting.

It was a lot of fun! The run made me nervous at first but now that I did it I'm just more proud of myself for doing some the obstacles I didn't think I could do or didn't think I could make it through a tough run like that.

I went to the Cortland in bayshore they apparently do the same thing the studio in huntington does every so often and you get two cocktails or beverages included.....The cortland has some amazing infused vodka drinks. It was a lot of fun and cheaper than the studio in hunting. It was $25 you get a canvas the brush and paint supplies provided to you. They have a local artist on hand to guide you through step by step or you can do your own freestyle thing if you want. I followed along with the paining they were doing. I'm not bad at painting apparently cause it looks like the picture we were basing our paintings off of. I will have to post the next time there is one cause so much fun!
