NWR: A word of advice for all women...

....never buy or let your fh/dh buy Playstation's 'Guitar Heroes' game!!!!! youll never see him again and youll have the same songs engrained in your head forever!

am i the only one out here dealing w/ this?? my two brother in laws got him into this. Mind you, they are 29, 32, and 34 yrs old. LOL

FH is walking around the apartment with a fake guitar around his neck and has a shiot eating grin on his face! like he's about to live his dream of becoming a rock star.

...I gotta give him a break actually..... Guitar heroes may be the male equivalent to LIWs as far as obsessions go!

I agree with you 100%.

My FH has guitar hero for the xbox 360.

He is always playing it. The fun thing is...I play it too.

It is pretty fun!

FH is so cute bc hes all excited to start playing but good Lord, I think Im in for some hell with this thing. I forsee hearing the same songs over and over again many a night!

haha and i never knew any of those songs and now if im out at a bar ill recognize them and start singing along...lol its pathetic!
my advice- get another guitar and join him lol (FH gets soo mad when i beat him )

FH is pissed though because it's the only playstation2 game that I can beat him on. He got so mad at one point thinking it was the guitar that he went out and got the wireless guitar. He still can't win. lol

That is my favorite game ever!!! But our friends own it, not us, thank goodness. If we owned it, we'd probably both be unemployed by now after being fired for failing to show up for work!

Even still, I've played it so many times that when a song from there comes on the radio I find myself tapping out the changes on my steering wheel. Is there a 12-step program for this???

Thats great!! I think FH would be pissed if I rocked on it too...he bought it to get better and try to beat my bro in laws bc theyve both had it for much longer and keep kicking his butt.

I hear some bad notes in the other room!

we bought guitar hero last year when it first came out and i think I played it for liek aday straight until i couldnt move my fingers anymore its pretty addicting but it is fun to play. i would defiantely aggree with the posters that suggest getting a second guitar and join in.

OMG I have gotten addicted to that game! I admit, when FH bought it I moaned and groaned because I thought it was the stupidest purchase every. But, i tried it, and now I'm even better at it then he is!!!

Lol...I posted about this on the 08 boards when my FH brought one home and I was ADDICTED!!!! I stopped coming on LIW and was just playing guitar hero for 3-4 days...it was so fun to do after work...now I am more into LIW and less Guitar Hero probably because the Mets are in full swing so he doesnt want me crowding his HDTV!
