NWR advice!

NWR advice!

This is so silly but...

the girls at my job are going to do a big potluck the last day of work before NYE. Which sounds great to me.

The last day of work before xmas they want to order platters from Dave and Busters. All different apps and stuff. It comes out to $25 a person.
I think it's a little expensive for what is not even a full meal, plus its a lot of money for two days before xmas. I'm not opposed to doing something but I dont see why we cant order pizza, or heros or something. I mean 25 bucks can order me a meal and app at chilis or something.

Am I unreasonable? HOw can I say something with out sounding b*tchy?

$25 a person is a lot IMO, maybe you can research other places before bringing it up to them?

Re: NWR advice!

i agree that is way too much for apps. You should research other options and then present it to everyone. hopefully people will agree and you can save some $$$

Re: NWR advice!

why dave & Busters??

they are somewhat expensive, you should do some research and offer suggestions to places that would be the same type of food at half the cost

I tried that, I think today I'm just going to say I can't do it. I hate to be a scrooge, but really I dont even want to eat all that fried food the day before xmas eve!
