after 5 1/2 years of graduate school, i'm defending my dissertation today at 10! the more fingers i have crossed for me the better!! thanks!

update: thank you to everyone who wished me good luck. the defense went extremely well. i officially have my PsyD in clinical psychology!

What College?

FH has his doctorate in psy from Hofstra he also has his Psyd now!

People dont know what it is like to write and defend a dissertation unless you do it or know someone who is... i applaud you!!! its the toughest thing to do! and i remember FH having to deal with all the BS of getting to the defense too! Fhs dissertation was over 240 pages long

do you plan on working in a school or private practice?

FH just finalyl got everything submitted to the state, once it all goes through he is going to take the licensing exam. He does plan on continuing to work in the school but might want to do testing on the side

i think a hospital setting until i build up a reputation, then probably private practice. good luck to your FH with the licensing. yet another hurdle!!
