NWR: am i over reacting
Im a CTT teacher. Our class was choosen by the spec ed dept i guess through the DOE to be filmed teaching a lesson. They will edit and stream it on the DOE website as a training video for new CTT teachers. We felt this was a big honor and it not only makes our school look good, but our Principal as well.
the only acknowledgements we got were 1. a letter telling about our acceptance only sent out to us saying 'my sincere thanks and gratitude' and 2. then the person who choose our class wrote a really nice letter to our principal and then our principal FWD it to us saying 'you make us proud'.
The day of filming he came over when they were packing up and didnt say a word to us personally about this. NOTHING. he was even interviewed for this video. that AM he made an announcement as usual about this date in history and how NOTHING of significance happened on this day.. etc.. have a great day... we thought maybe he would acknowledge us to the school - but no. No one knew about this except the people in our k-1 building.
