I'm with you!! I'm so happy!!! She deserved it - she's like Aretha Franklin the 2nd! She's awesome - I got chills!!

I felt bad for Diana though - BUT she'll still have an amazing career so it's ok.

So happy she won. I was done with AI if Diana won. She is good but too young and they just make her look too grown up.

I love Fantasia!

Re: NWR: American Idol!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!

Tell me if I'm wrong about this, but the song that Fantasia sang at the end, 'I Believe'--wasn't that the same song that Diana sang earlier that night and yesterday? It had that same 'pot of gold at the end of the rainbow' line. Or did they both sing the same song last night? I thought Tamyra (sp?) Gray wrote them EACH a song. I felt a little bad for Diana, like okay you lost so now Fantasia gets to sing your song!

Re: NWR: American Idol!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!

ITs the same song...Tamyra wrote it for the winners first single...but they both got a shot at signing in...

I think when Fantasia sang it after she won, she missed a few lines of it in all her excitement of breaking her shoe

Thank goodness! I was going to toss my TV out the window if Fantasia didn't win.

Oh no I missed it!!!! Well I wanted Diana to win b/c fantasia is a little annoying to me ( in general not JUST her voice) and I think Diana seemed like a sweetheart......
Its not like it matters though they will both get record deals... besides I dont think I would buy either one of their albums anyway
