NWR and SWR

Well, I leave in 9 days to be with Andrew in England. (horraay for that). I just am so stressed with having to get so much done, and found out today I have IBS and have to get a colonoscopy on Wednesday, (4 days before I leave). My mom got pneumonia from her colonoscopy hopefully that won't happen to me. I know having a colonoscopy is obviously not the end of the world, but I didn't think I would have to have one done at 25. Better safe than sorry I guess.

you have to get a colonoscopy for IBS? I have IBS and never had to get one!
How does a colonoscopy give you pneumonia? Just curious!!

i don't have to have colonoscopy because of ibs, i have to have colonoscopy because of rectal pain (i know too much info), and because i have prominent colon cancer in my family.

i think her lungs aspirated or something like that during the procedure.

Glad you'll get to see Andrew soon, that'll take your mind off of things and give you something to look forward to!!

aw Anne. - you're right...better safe than sorry. especially since you are moving so far away- it's better to take care of it now when your here and your docs know you and your medical history.

I hope the procedure goes off without a hitch (and that there is some standing room on the plane- sorry, lame attempt at a joke I know, but I hope it cheered you a bit! )
